Adama is a junior from Bambako, Mali. While he is now a beast on the UConn Men’s Basketball team, he didn’t start playing until he was 14, due to his love for soccer. Adama not only excels on the court, but also has a passion for giving back to his community. He hosted a camp this past summer with the help of Championship Labs to help kids learn about basketball and give them some equipment. Adama’s love for his community doesn’t stop there as he now sponsors two kids in Mali to be able to go to school. Adama’s work to make those around him better doesn’t just stop there as he is now a captain of the team. He constantly mentions he loves to talk to his teammates and others. These genuine conversations with them have led teammates coining him the nicknames, the “Grizzly Bear” and “Adamanation”. Adama is one of the most genuine, humble, and funny people you will ever know and we are lucky to have him working with us at Championship Labs.
